  • Life-Science Companies Raise Record Venture Capital in 2007
    Venture capitalists invested a total of $29.4 billion in 3,813 companies across all industries, the most since 2001. About 31 percent of the cash went to biotechnology and medical devices, a record share of venture investment.     Successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the activities among four campuses (Cal State Fullerton, Cal State Los Angeles, Cal State Dominguez Hills, and Cal Poly Pomona Universities), to establish and implement a new, Professional Science Master’s (PSM) Degree program by Fall 2008. The Coordinator will interface with the C-LAB director (CSUPERB-Los Angeles Basin), to support biotech workforce training.
