Lake Forest-Based ReVision Optics Begins U.S. Clinical Trial of the PresbyLens for the Restoration of Near Vision

The clinical trial will evaluate the PresbyLen corneal inlay for the correction of presbyopia, the age-related loss of near vision. Abraxis to Present Phase I/II Pancreatic Survival Data at 101st Annual Meeting of the American Association for Cancer Research

The Los Angeles-based company will provide the updated survival findings from a Phase I/II clinical trial evaluating the chemotherapy agent ABRAXANE(R) for Injectable Suspension (paclitaxel protein-bound particles for injectable suspension) (albumin-bound) in combination with gemcitabine for first-line treatment of patients with metastatic pancreatic cancer will be discussed during a keynote address on April 20 at the 101st Annual Meeting of the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) being held in Washington, D.C... Read more

The San Pedro, Calif.-based Celprogen announced that its researchers have de-differentiated human somatic fibroblasts into cells that eventually become eggs and sperm, possibly opening the door for new treatments for infertility using patient-specific cells.... Read more

The Irvine, Calif., company said the letter focused on six incidents of late medical device reporting.
