NIH SHIFT
SBIR Grants

The Southern California Biomedical Council (SoCalBio) is pleased to be
part of the new NIH SHIFT
SBIR Initiative designed for small businesses. These grants
seeks to
bring business jobs to academic investigators - their shift
from academia to industry (See
the "SHIFT Connector" on how to proceed).
SoCalBio will function as a regional
SHIFT
information portal and matchmaker helping to connect academic investigators with interested companies in Los Angeles,
Orange County, the Inland Empire and Gold Coast Communities.
Academics and companies interested in tapping SHIFT Grants can register to attend any of the following events to identify suitable partners.
During these networking forums, interested academics and participating companies will be allowed
to set up poster shows and table-top displays to disseminate information about their work. SoCalBio will facilitate one-on-one meetings to
help in the matchmaking process
For more information, please feel free to contact SoCalBio President & CEO Ahmed Enany at
