Workforce Development Committee Mission:

The SoCalBio Workforce Development Committee's mission is to help build a sustainable and growing workforce by strengthening linkages between the life science industries and academic & training institutions in the region composed of Los Angeles, Orange, Ventura, Santa Barbara, Riverside, San Bernardino counties"

I.  Curriculum:

Committee Purpose: Bridge the gap between industry and education to develop improved curriculum,  which will better prepare students for careers in the life-science industry, and will increase the labor pool for the life-science industry in the Greater Los Angeles region.

Committee Purpose: To design, organize, and run the annual HR conference.  And, to increase membership on the Workforce Training/Education Committee specifically in the area of Human Resource professionals within the life-science industry.
