The Southern California Biomedical Council is pleased to report that Mr. Alan Frazier (photo right), Founder and Managing Director, Frazier Healthcare Ventures will deliver the morning keynote speech during the 10th SoCalBio Investor Conference to be held at the Wilshire Grand Hotel in downtown Los Angeles.

Delivering the luncheon keynote speech is Mark Goldsmith, MD, PhD (photo right), Chairman and CEO of Cogentus, a specialty pharmaceutical company developing innovative, fixed-dose combination prescription medicines serving unmet medical needs that drive significant commercial opportunities.

We are also pleased to announce that Mr. Michael Weingarten, Director of the National Cancer Institute's SBIR and STTR  program will address the SoCalBio Investor Conference on September 19 about the recently launched "bridge" or "Phase III" funding program to support the commercializing of SBIR-financed project.
